Fatal Tendencies is a 2D platform which was developed by students in the Game Development program. The unique characteristic that FT brings to the 2D platform genre is the idea of carrying your spawn point. As a result it is also necessary to often kill yourself in order to progress through a level. By carrying, throwing and managing your flag, the spawn point, your character can advance through the levels. Your character’s corpses are also persistent and provide an important tool necessary to accomplish your goals, such as building a corpse bridge to cross a chasm.
